Delivery of Goods


Normally goods are carriage paid, if delivered on normal runs by our transport to destinations in our free delivery area. If the delivery is required outside of our designated delivery area decision will be made by the management team if we are able to do the delivery and also what charge will need to be applied. Certain promotional items are priced for local delivery or collection only.We reserve the right to apply a carriage charge to every delivery when an order is placed for delivery and is under £100 excluding VAT .

Delivery Shortages

Shortages must be notified within one day of receipt of goods. Claims after this period will be fully investigated but, in such cases, we will only replace free of charge if we are certain goods were not despatched.

Settlement Terms

Our settlement terms are for payment by the end of the month following the month of delivery of goods. In the event that you do not adhere to our terms of trade details of your payment terms may be passed to a licensed credit reference agency. Interest may be charged on all overdue payments as stated by the CPA and on our account application forms.

Prices

Prices are subject to alterations without notice as it is not possible to advise all price alterations due to their continual frequency. It can also be a result of manufacturer and supplier increases. Exceptions to this are occasionally made for very limited periods but must be agreed in writing. Written Quotations are valid for 30 days as stated.

VAT

All of our prices are subject to VAT at the current rate therefore any price displayed either on a point of sale or an invoice, priced delivery note and
quotations VAT will need to be applied.

Special Order Items

We are unable to accept cancellations of special orders or the return of goods not included within our current stock range. When stock items are not required after delivery or collection we can only take them back if they are in a clean, dry and re-saleable condition subject to the supplier allowing the refund in which supplier charges may apply.

Returns Policy

Three Counties will accept goods to be returned to your nearest depot subject to a restocking charge of 20% and on the basis the product is in a re-saleable condition and a stocked item.

Three Counties have the right to refuse any refund therefore we do not refund items of a perishable nature including bagged products such as cement and plaster. Bagged aggregate cannot be collected form site unless relevant haulage charges are agreed.

In the event any goods are requested to be collected by our own lorries the appropriate haulage cost will be applied.   

This does not affect your statuary rights

Liability

Should any goods appear faulty they will be returned to the manufacturer for inspection and report. Goods found to be faulty will be replaced however we do not accept any liability whatsoever for consequential loss.

Retention of Title

Title to goods shall remain with the company and only pass onto the customer when payment in full has been made. The company reserves the right to repossess the goods at any time subject to any default on payment and to take any measures to gain access to premises for that purpose.
